Conference Lunch Options
The Morris Center is no longer an option for lunch, and because the alternatives are a relatively long distance from the BYU Conference Center, we are offering box lunches that will be delivered to the Conference Center each day. You must sign up for the box lunch when you register. We cannot guarantee box lunches will be available to those who walk on to the conference without pre-registering.
Box lunches will cost $12 and include a sandwich, side salad or chips, a cookie or brownie and a bottle of water. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available for those who request them. Please call 801-422-4852 and let us know if you need that accommodation so we can order the correct number of lunches. Leave a message if no one answers. Tell us the day or days on which you will need an alternative lunch and which type, (vegetarian or gluten-free), you need. We cannot provide any other type of special food requests at this time.
For those who choose to go elsewhere for lunch, a list of campus options is below. Cougar Cash cards are not being offered this year.
- Cannon Commons and snack bars
- Creamery on Ninth (a convenience store)
- WSC Cougareat Food Court and Skyroom
- Vending machines
- BYU Bookstore
The International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) is pleased to host its fourth annual networking luncheon. If you are interested in becoming an Accredited Genealogist, this opportunity to meet AG® professionals will give you more insight into the application and testing process, as well as the practical benefits of joining ICAPGen and achieving the AG® credential.
Last year's ICAPGen luncheon was a popular event, and we encourage early registration to ensure a seat. To register, please click the Registration tab at the top of this page and add the ICAPGen Luncheon option to your cart.
The luncheon will be held on the concluding day of the BYU Conference on Family History & Genealogy: Friday, August 3, 2018, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Ballrooms B &C in the Harman Building. Cost for the event is $15.
