In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we are excited to announce a new exhibit called, The Evolution of Family History, that will be displayed throughout the conference.

We also welcome you to our Tuesday night reception on July 31 from 5:00–6:30 p.m. in the Harman Building atrium (adjacent to the BYU Conference Center) where you can view the exhibit and visit the vendor hall.

The 50th annual BYU Conference on Family History and Genealogy will offer more than 100 classes, including a free track on Friday for Family History Consultants, allowing participants to gain new skills and helpful information. Class topics include:

In an effort to lower prices and make family history training more accessible to youth The myFamily History BYU Youth Camp has changed their structure from an overnight camp to a day camp running the same time as the adult Conference on Family History and Genealogy. Our adult participants will receive a $20 discount on their registration if they also register a youth. Please go to the myfamily.byu.edu website to register your youth first, then return to this website to register at the discounted price. (You will be given a promo code in your confirmation email.)

ICAPGen Luncheon

The International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) is pleased to host its fourth annual networking luncheon. This event provides an opportunity for those interested in becoming an Accredited Genealogist to talk and eat with AG® professionals and get more insight as to the application and testing process, as well as learn more of the practical benefits of achieving the AG® credential.
