“The conference is such a wonderful chance to pick those classes of interest and associate with others who have the same interests.” —2012 Conference Participant
Cougar Cash is a prepaid card requiring an initial deposit of $35; the account balance is decreased each time you use it. Cougar Cash is fast, convenient, and provides a discount on meal prices at Cannon Commons. Participants may use Cougar Cash for campus food and merchandise purchases through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 29. Cougar Cash is accepted at all locations displaying the Cougar Cash emblem, including but not limited to the following:
Lost Cards: If you purchase a Cougar Cash card by July 22, it will be associated with your account, and the unused balance on the lost card at the time of replacement can be transferred to a new card. If you stay in campus housing, the card also acts as your room key. Therefore, to replace the key card and the remaining funds, you must visit the housing coordinators in the Cannon Center on Monday and Tuesday, and in 101 SASB Wednesday through Friday. If you purchase a Cougar Cash card by July 22 but are not staying in campus housing, you can obtain a replacement for a lost card by visiting the ID Center at 2310 WSC or by visiting the housing coordinators at the locations listed previously.
NOTE: All accounts are closed at the end of the conference. Unused balances or unclaimed Cougar Cash cannot be refunded. However, any balance on Cougar Cash accounts can be transferred to a BYU student's account if done before 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, by visiting the BYU ID Center in 2310 WSC or calling 801-422-3866.
